Controversial Take on the Black Swan Documentary

  • So as many of you know, AppleTV released a documentary about the BlackSwan drama, particularly the feud between Leia and Fatou. While it is all interesting, I just have so many questions. How do they have so much footage of the members during this awkward hiatus as they changed lineups? Why were they interviewing the members to give their sides of the story? Did the members know a documentary was going to happen? How long have they anticipated doing a documentary? Why would Leia agree to have herself portrayed as a villain? Why do they not mention Hyeme in this movie at all as if she was never a member? It just seems fishy to me because if my group had tension, I wouldn't call in a camera crew to air the behind the scenes dirty laundry. They leave stuff out to make the label seem like victims somehow and I just don't trust them. As a Rania stan for over 10 years, this label is the worst of the worst. And this is not a defense of Leia nor am I bashing BlackSwan, regardless of this whole thing I still support the group a lot. While it might be exciting for Kpop fans to be like "ooh this is giving us a real behind the scenes breakdown" I think this documentary is still manufactured. It feels like reality tv to me.

  • I also find it weird that Leia is technically still under DR as this documentary is being produced and published, like she hasn't officially left the company or the team. And it's weird how they showed her breaking her contract many times and yet she is still signed to them.

Idk it's like Leia was over it after the first comeback but rather than just leaving the company they decided to turn it into this big scandal with a fanwar and manufactured fighting to get more people talking about BlackSwan, and ultimately siding with them over Leia. And they knew the Brazilians would support her no matter what so she would have her fandom when she eventually leaves.
