From Gahyeon to....

Gahyun is actually her real name. When Dreamcatcher started, management went with Gahyeon to make a bit of synchronicity in names with Yoohyeon.

Similar to Hyeju, formerly Olivia Hye of LOONA. It seems like names, even if just stage names, mean a lot to some idols, so it's great to see they're able to change it as they see fit!

Dunno why now, but it's been Gahyun on her passport for a long while.

What's interesting is that it's only the Romanisation that's changed

The hangul for Gahyun and Gahyeon are the same, 가현
