It seems that smaller acts are going to more places in their tours than the larger acts, and smaller acts are having more world tours than larger ones.
Granted, the venues will be much smaller, and therefore the revenues will be smaller too, but at least they are getting exposed more than larger acts who tend to go to only Japan, SE Asia, USA and maybe Australia.
Among the larger acts, only IVE, which is NOT from a major company , did a real world tour involving more than 3 continents, and the major companies all stop at Japan and USA and no more.
Companies have become so risk averse that they are afraid of going to newer places, only beating the old horse again and again and again.
Because the younger ones are less adventurous, a 1,345 years old singer had to do a world tour to show an example to the younger generations. Something is very wrong when a 1,345 years old is taking more risk than a newer act.
