For others, I would like to rank them by songs. Like like crazy is among my top 5 bts solos but other songs on face are not my taste, same with snooze from dday, arson and equal sign from jitb and love me again and rainy days from layover, I listen to these much more than others on respective albums.
Ranking by song would be REALLY hard for me, especially because so many of their b sides are just as good if not better than the promoted singles.
I enjoyed listening to all of the albums but I found some to be more cohesive projects both sonically and thematically.

3. Golden: Yes or No, Please don’t Change
4. JITB: More(my favorite song from chapter 2), Stop
5. D-Day: I didn’t like it as much as D2. D-day, life goes on
6. Layover: For Us, Love me Again
7. Face: I didn’t vibe with the whole album and it’s my least played too. Like Crazy( best song in chapter 2 after More. It’s really carrying the album for me), Letter(hidden track which is sad because I wanted it added to the album)
FACE is my least favorite as well. I never liked SMF Pt. 2, the interlude isn't a song i can sing along to, Letter is only on the physical version and the vocal effect they put on Alone drives me nuts. Face Off and Like Crazy were instant hits for me, but the overall album feels disjointed imo.
Indigo Golden D-Day
I'm pleasantly shocked at how many AKP ARMY love Indigo. That's so heartwarming. It's an album that really rewards repeat listens, just like Joon intended.
Golden is an interesting album to me. Not because he chose to sing in English, but because of the songs themselves. I could easily see a song like Somebody or Hate You on some other pop singer's album but for JK, I'm not sure if I like them or not. I don't dislike them but they're just kind of on the tracklist. The singles are fantastic but the b-sides are hit or mess for me.

Interesting you chose Somebody, that is my fave bside apart from Yes or No. Regarding why the songs are in the album, it is in line with the theme of the album which is telling us a story about a hook up which turns into love to a break up, hence the song choices and that particular order of the songs.

. You are right tho, when I first heard it, I thought I played someone else by mistake. His voice is really different in that song especially at the start of song
It is impossible for me to rank their albums from before and after Chapter 2 together. Idk why.
But for chapter 2 it is-
