By "real crush", I mean crushing on someone who you know personally.
Like this crush knows who you are, unlike a celebrity crush.
Even though you can know a celebrity personally. (well... I know some famous people personally, but my country is kinda small, so...)
But when you know that celebrity personally, I guess it can't quite be considered a celebrity crush. (or maybe it can be considered both)
I know that there are cases where some people who have erotomania think that the celebrity that they like actually likes them back, when in reality the celebrity doesn't even know who that person is.
The thing about celebrity crushes is that because of the fact that some people don't know that celebrity personally, they might have some imaginations of what kind of person they are.
Like the celebrity (especially thinking about kpop artists) is pretty much just showing the best sides of themself, I guess.
But I'm sure that non-celebrities also show just the good sides of them sometimes. Or I can kinda relate to acting that way.
Some celebrities might seem like good people, but they could hide their bad sides. Like that celebrity could secretly be a "red flag".
But yeah, I know that people can't be 100% bad or 100% good.
Sometimes you can also crush on a "real crush" without knowing much about them.
Maybe you're thinking that this person is good-looking and also seems like a nice person.
There is this one guy, who I kinda have a crush on, even though we haven't interacted much. Well... if I got to know him better, I don't know if I would end up having bigger feelings for him or if my crushing would disappear.
And then there are fictional crushes, where that crush actually doesn't exist in real life.
I'm especially thinking about animated crushes or book characters.
Even though I guess you can also crush on some character from a live action movie or TV series or something. I feel like whenever I have been crushing someone from a kdrama or something, there are times where I'm like "Do I like the character or do I like the actor?"
With Kang Tae Oh's character in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I feel like I find Kang Tae Oh handsome, but I'm also like "this character is my ideal type".
Well... with fictional crushes, you kinda know what kind of person they are.
