Online Draft regulation is getting ready.
Attempts before to have Female Draft Regulation. Those didn't go far, but this one got passed the House of Representatives. Some Senators say their not voting for it. Senate will stop this attempt.
Wonder if representatives only saw 'Auto Registration' of Males and missed the fine print amending to include females.
Draft registration is required by all Males already. Requires them to register by filing out a Draft registration form. Its a Felony not to register by 18 years old. Up to 25 years old for males who arrive in the US after age 18.
I cringe at how Draft registration requirement is not well published. Didn't here about in School or by mail. Only by word by mouth (Dad, Brother and Friends) did I find out. I've told Sister and Aunt of Nephew its a law to register to draft. Idk if the nephew or Aunt took it serious. Ignorance or attitude is going to get him in trouble. Probably why the legislation to make it automatic. But adding Females is sneaky.
