(Advice?) Do you think or know K-Pop idols talking about burnout, going through it or giving advice. I've been feeling like that recently..

  • My phone died today during work and I have been thinking about writing this post all day and I have been up for a long time so it might not be written as good as I usually do, but I really wanted somewhere to post it and maybe someone has more knowledge then me when it comes to this.

I might have mentioned it previously for a brief moment, but I'm currently going through creative burnout and burnout in general, I believe it's cause I'm pushing myself to hard and have back to back schedules paired with appointments related to my mental well being. I love to write articles as I'm sure many know on another site (you can see them in my profile just don't mention the site name so I don't get in trouble with mods lol!) and I just haven't lately, I haven't updated any of my characters writings and kinda left them in a cliff hanger were I've lost the plot and am unsure about who the killer is anymore. I also couldn't help but noticed since changing my work out and running routine that I haven't danced since April. It used to be really fun to me to laugh and practice and dance to some of the really early songs for VICTON and Seventeen. The times were I want to and try to do it its not the same anymore, I loved doing DPR, BTS Save Me, or Monsta X's releases but I stop half way through and think I need a break.

It kinda got me thinking about how Bang Yonguk would take a lot of social media breaks back then and wouldn't post for months and how so many idols must feel about having to be on and perform all the time, maybe its cause of my new 6:30am schedule that I'm just over tired and not sleeping well due to having very little medication to help at the moment,

but it made me think a lot about idols and if you know of anyone who has publicly said anything about creative burn out and anything they shared that helps them or mentioned it in any vlogs or anything anywhere?

  • Health first!

People think burnout is just a light condition when you’re a bit tired but real burnout is a clinical condition and increases the risk of several other severe diseases

Take some serious me-time until you feel better and I’m sure creativity will come back in a second <3
