try to think hard and there is barely any other girl group song released recently with those numbers and achievements and yet kpop fans pretend this song is not a smash hit because it didn't charted in korea, where it was never intended to, and pretend twice didn't got any hit since 2018? 2019? or is maybe 2017? They can't even get the supposed year twice stopped smashing right.

Craziest part is RIAJ started counting after april 2020, so it missed feel special first 6 months, it could easily be 3x platinum. Despite missing TT first 3 and half years the song still got gold certification for 50m streams in both the korean and japanese version of the song, twice power in japan is just insane.

Oh it started after April 2020?? Then me throw the low-key possibility of What is Love also missing this certification lol. I remember seeing that song played at Japanese weddings for a period.

Sometimes I honestly forget how much of a big deal they are in Japan. I'm so happy they got that market.
