(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Lee Tae-soo = Attrakt, the agency of girl group Fifty Fifty, was able to provisionally seize the frozen assets of The Givers, an outsourced production company co-represented by PD Ahn Seong-il.
Attrakt announced on the 7th that its application for provisional seizure of deposit claims for part of the claim for damages due to the illegal activities of The Givers submitted to the Seoul Central District Court was accepted on the 24th of last month.
Attrakt pointed out The Givers as the mastermind behind the so-called "Fifty Fifty Incident" last year and filed a lawsuit against The Givers and its executives and employees in September last year, requesting compensation for damages due to illegal acts and default. This application for provisional seizure of frozen assets is intended to preserve the right to claim damages of 1 billion won.
Attrakt said, “The amount requested for damages at the time was only a small amount, and we will increase the amount significantly during the later trial process.”
