For me its the fact about modern fastfood
When you think burger and hotdog would be the (!) american fastfood staples and in reality both are apparently German foods, which sounds unbelivable to me since these 2 things had been popularized trought American fastfood chains and used to be pretty unknown in Europe in their curent forms before a American fastfood shop brought them to Europe how they look like. I simply can't imagine how these are apparenty German, especially not if the "OG" versions they always talk about are not even the same thing. Aparently the OG burger is just a grilled piece of meat between 2 slices of soft bread, the OG hotdog is just a crunchy fresh piece of bread with a grilled sausage (not that soft one that people use now for hotdog) and the funniest thing is the "burger" has nothing to do with the hamburger and the "hotdog" is just a grilled sausage and a bun with either mustard or ketchup or even no sauce at all
Is there anything you can't belive if you hear the apparent "true" or "origin" story of it ?
