Why send ITZY to the West though when they haven't even made proper footsteps in Korea? idk it's just screaming Wonder Girls 2.0.
ITZY also doesn't even have a proper US fanbase and are defo NOT big enough to "compete" with BP. It's too risky, Div2 needs to stick to Asia cause that's where they're thriving the most.
I’d agree If the tt in full English.. but if it’s korean ,we are in the times of COVID so the only change is the releasing time? Could hurt at the initial chart debuting but it will rise with the promos. Itzy will still go on music shows and maybe variety. So what are they really losing? Besides, a US promo is not diff from a Korean promo for fans in sea China or japan They’ll consume it the same way.
For competing with bp I meant in the girlcrush arena ofc they don’t have the same fanbase. We could argue about if US promos actually get you US fans or not that’s another topic tbh.

Yeah that 1pm kst release is weird. JYPe always wants to do some crazy shit to ITZY. First, to when they debuted they uploaded the mv first then delayed the digital release for the next day even did that to Jus2 because it worked for the girls. Idk but they keep pushing them to the west and prioritizing their international fans so it seems right to keep pushing them.
Also, is it just me or is this guess who comeback is a collab?
