Does anyone here like studying history?

I like chinese history and I did enjoy general history when I did it in high school

those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it

i absolutely hated it in school. honestly remembering the 63737282 dates was tedious and my teacher expected us to know every detail front to back. but i got older and started enjoying period dramas and suddenly im into history again 😭

like general world history and not specifically US history

I used to love reading history books when I was a kid, it was (still is tbh) fascinating to see how histories unfold at the same time in different countries around the world
