  • well in comparison to groups from big labels yeah they are moving on much lower pace

Not just that. The comebacks, the lightsticks, the promotions, everything seem to happen with long breaks between one and another. For comparison Woo!ah! that come from another small company if not smaller to be in the normal pace of other groups, and they're just 1 example, there's many more.

Maybe because they did have a very, very long hiatus after Ven Pera didn't do well and Jiyoon left, so they faded from view (especially among kpop fans that only want to follow or care about groups that are popular). They were still somewhat active on SNS and doing something in SK but it was one of the longest hiatus I'd ever seen.

But before all that they were pretty consistent with comebacks and Jihan was having a small scale moment, particularly by being MC of The Show for a while.

I don't know why they had to have such a long, long hiatus post Ven Pera/Jiyoon though.

It's a pity because after After School they had so much hype, all of that is gone now

    Yeah it's really weird

They were never going to be HUGE but they were a ROTY winner BEFORE After School, their After School follow up, Holiday Party did ok, they have very charismatic members with a LOT of potential.

But IST did something weird with the 180 concept change for Ven Pera instead of leaning into what worked with their concept, then Jiyoon left and was outspoken about it then IST just went quiet on them.

Of all the kpop things that happened in the past few years, I'm actually most interested in knowing what went on behind the scenes with Weeekly in this time.
