I have the opposite issue in that I've only watched a kdrama that starred Jisoo lol

I'm sure there are a lot of good kdramas but like I've said before my friend I'd rather watch cdramas...it's closer to home - I understand the language and cultural backgrounds and I really like the historical stuff

as for historical you mean overall in different periods of time?

or more like Korean sageuk's, dramas set hundreds of years ago when people were wearing all those beautiful clothes, and there were kings, queens, courts, councils, shamans, etc? many of them have also added those fantasy elements

I'm not sure what they call it in SK

but for chinese dramas I consider historical to mean based on actual chinese history - like the emperors and kings and people of old...

it's different to period dramas where yes they dress up in those clothing but the difference is period dramas are "fictional" whereas historical ones do have some basis in actual chinese history

and yes I do like my fantasy type movies and shows...it's just a matter of getting around to watching them lol
