    All conversation about October has centered on how much of a packed house it is with so many comebacks happening together.


    So who emerges with the #1 song by the end of the month? One of the upcoming releases or will AKMU hold off all challengers for another month?

    I chose Melon daily #1 because I couldn't think of anything that wouldn't obviously go to AKMU due to their headstart even if it's Melon weekly #1

    Lim young-woong has a good chance too, he has big fandom support and public recognition, most of the artists you mentioned have no chance even for the top 10 monthly. Melon chart is so weak right now that anybody with 30k-50k fans will chart lot of songs very high in the realtime chart, and the realtime chart influence heavily the unique listeners rankings, last year LYW fandom was charting 40 songs in the top 50 like nothing, this will affect the other songs rankings.

    I would've included him as an option but I didn't see him listed under the October releases

    Well in this case I'll go with LSRF, if they really comeback at the end of the month


    AKMU is at #1 with """only""" 325k ULs, by the end of the month I believe they will decrease to 280-290k. It's a bar a group like LSRF can clear


    I can see Seventeen getting #1 on real time, but not on daily chart


    And IVE... honestly their current comeback is not performing as good ad their others digitally. I won't be surprised if they miss the #1 on daily chart

    The answer actually ended up being AKMU. IVE didn't finally claim #1 Melon daily until November.


    But it turns out those were the two most popular choices anyway.


    Kind of curious to see if anything changes by the end of November, because the unique listeners, not just on Melon, but across multiple streaming platforms, have been shockingly low.
