Tbh he's split his time between them almost evenly since he finished his service. 2021 he crammed DFTF and Empathy into the first 6 months, and then acted the next 6. Then 2022 he only did acting (although he recorded the entire Expectation album in April 2022). Then this year is all music again with only promotions for movies he already filmed (I don't count the variety shows because they take like less than a week to film).
I really hope he can put out another album next year too. If he leaves SM as a soloist I think the odds actually go up of more music; SM can't just sit on his album for over a year again.
