Another SOTY contender has been released.

What is it with these special/prerelease/promotional songs being 1000x better than title releases? Songs like this, I Do by IDLE and I Want by IVE.

This is also the second fansong that deserves SOTY contender status. The first being Lamppost by LSRFM of course.

Weekly now has TWO SOTY contenders already (this song and Holiday) and a third bop in Afterschool. Everyone knows Afterschool but Holiday got paid literal dust by everyone but is a literal 10 out of 10.

I was about to go off on the song, but it's actually pretty damn good. The instrumentals are interesting, melody and song structure good. Effing amazing that it's almost 4 minutes long as well. Back when songs actually sounded like real songs instead of autotuned overprocessed Garageband samples or vamps repeated mindlessly for 2.4 minutes.

But tbh, IU's vocals ruin the song. This is just not the right song for her, her voice is best used in songs like Celebrity or Eight.
