I predicted this about a million years ago.
Truly global groups, first fully non-Asian idols becoming superstars, songs sung in other languages besides English and Korean....Music is cyclical, it's been many years since the passing of the rock band/boy bands in the US (excluding a few outliers like 1D, Little Mix, Fifth Harmony), some form of group music is bound to make a comeback at some point.
