For big companies, what is the fair expectation of time between releases?

    I guess this is more of SM and Hybe problem and somewhat JYP bc they have more groups.


    What is the fair amount of time for fans to expect the company to put in between their artists releases? 1 week? 2 week? Or it's not a fair expectation to have at all?


    I honestly gave up on that expectation bc SM has alot of groups and they all go solo as well. Everyone wants to have comebacks and releases, so it's not fair for me to expect other SM artists to just sit back.


    As long as the management is promoting the release to the best of their ability, idc even if other sm artists have comebacks same week or same day as SHINee.

    group A starts beginning of week 1 then promotes to end of week 3

    group B starts beginning of week 4 then promotes to end of week 6

    group C starts beginning of week 7 then promotes to end of week 9

    I assumed the 4 weeks

    2 group, each getting 3 comebacks a year thats already 6 month


    some solos from them then the year is filled


    maybe if they get only 2 comebacks a year and less solos then 3 groups

    Try to include soloists


    On SM there must be at least 15 releasing music regularly


    Not counting subunits and SM super groups


    SM has way more than 20 artists releasing music a year

    Depends on the company. Some companies have so many artists and groups that the best they can do is 1 week.


    The ideal would be 3 weeks, because on several music shows now, you can only win a trophy for that release 3 times.
