    And as per rumours JK's album will be out on 3rd Nov....Seven was also out a week after Taylor's version Speak Now. I sense a pattern here and I can only link it back to Taylor and Scooter's tiff atp.


    Ofc JK cannot compete with 1989 TV, even if its in week 2 cause its her biggest album and the hype for 1989TV is so huge its preorders are already reportedly several times over and above her new album Mignights. But maybe if the rumours got the date wrong and the release of JK's album is not on 3rd Nov but 10th Nov instead, he may have an outside chance assuming Taylor does not push more versions and vinyls in week 3.


    Irrespective, getting a 2 on BB 200 in the weeks succeeding Taylor's most hyped album's re-release is not a shame.

    the bts solos have been pulling bigger numbers in the US than 95% of k acts, but each of them has missed the #1 with a tiny margin. it's getting annoying lol

    If JK's solo album release date rumors are true, then it will be week 2 of Taylor's album. It still has a chance to top the Billboard 200 unlike Taehyung's album. Olivia has already reached 100K+ pre-orders as just Vinly. I think she will force 300K and even exceed it. So Tae has no chance of getting to the 1

    First week 300-400K? Sure. But week 2? I doubt it if I'm being honest. How much were the second-week sales of the her best-selling -re-recording- album before this?

    Taylor is doing 1mn units week 1 for 1989 TV, week 2 is easily 300k...its already outdoing Midnights in preorders and this is Midnights on BB 200

    Red tV is her biggest re-release till now, 1989 has double its hype and Red TV alone did 159k week 2

    Maybe JK can close the gap in the second week with the physical album difference, after all, there is a big improvement in the streams. But 300-350K..? It will probably be a week full of struggle that will end on the edge.

    This is why Nov 10th is the best option, hopefully that is the release date and it will go well with Bbma debut rumours too

    lol you're HEAVILY underestimating Taylor

    not only are her re-releases doing huge numbers, 1989 is her BIGGEST album

    for JK to reach #1, he needs to release at least 3 weeks after her i think


    hopefully geffen/scooter are better at planning than mhj

    one freaking week before or after olivia would have secured tae a #1

    Lol txt's rumoured date is October 27 (but based on mv hints) and I double hope it's not on the same day as Taylor and if it's a week before jk exactly like for DILT and seven, I might burn a little bit of hybe ground haha


    I also saw Seventeen is supposed to return in October.


    To go back to jk the rumoured date for Seven was right although it was for a single and not an album so november 3rd could be it and while Taylor swift IS indeed a powerhouse, if bighit doesn't fuck up it should be more than fine on her second week
