Do You Fear Death?

I fear death because life is splendid if you take the time to enjoy the living world

I also fear death because my death won't /really/ be experienced by me, but it will be experienced by my family and my friends, and I don't want them to feel that pain

I fear the death of loved ones and even my favorite celebrities. Sometimes I wonder what the point of being a fan of a celebrity if they can die unexpectedly. Similarly, I question the purpose of loving a loved one if I know I might lose them. Does that make sense? I also fear God's wrath and punishment because I know I have committed many sins and haven't repented from them. I have a strong desire to go to heaven.

I don’t fear death - it’s part of life - but would be so sad if I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye or have closure with my family and friends. Same re if family or friends passing etc. It’s not the death itself but it’s the inability to clear and settle things and say my peace - this is what I fear.

This terrifies me so much as well

I'm surrounded by the concept of death and death itself and although I shouldn't be numb to seeing it, I am. What I do fear is having to say goodbye to loved ones, but I don't fear my own if that makes sense.
