I like it. Helps more to promote the group image than potentially having a situation where 1 member can go viral for her solo cf and then people start calling the group "X and friends"

i know big4 privilege and all but they're one of the few groups that actually had debut hype comparable to big4 groups

esp Yoon

she has the looks AND the skills to hit it big ( i know skills dont matter but atleast she cant be criticized for it )

I think J is still going to be pretty big. I don't know if she will make it to Wonyoung, Ahn Yujin, Karina, Sullyoon, Minji, and Haerin levels though, but I think she will always be known as a top 4th gen visual.

I think Yoon has lost some of her hype since their debut. Yoon (and Sieun) were literally the only ones I saw talked about when they 1st debuted. Mostly Yoon. Now, I see J mostly, Seeun, and sometimes Isa.

Then again, STAYC seems like one of those groups who won't have 1 member that will eclipse the other members in terms of popularity. Not unless one of them gets a really big brand deal or stars in a big television series.
