The amount of shit groups like GFriend, Twice, RV, Lovelyz, WJSN and many nugus were put through in the early days of the 3rd gen was prolific. Most notably by sones who fought tooth and nail to have the title of "nation's girl group" go nowhere else. "Ugly, cheap, wannabes, imitations, basics" all sort of mean things were thrown at them, as well as dissing them on their lack of achievements and sales. But by the time of BPink's debut they started to finally give up on the hate except for a few residuals.
I'm starting to see similar looking down on 4gen groups (fortunately, not at the same level of hatred). So it's good 3rd gen fans learn the lessons of the past so they don't repeat the same transgressions.
