Wow seems like a very good info for me, I thought bc SM is unfair in sharing profits with their artists. I guess they have their own strength too.

According to tvxq's contracts from 2009, SM takes like 90% of album sales profit and people look at that and think SM artists have the worst contracts but the thing is, album sales aren't their main source of income, in fact the profits from SM artists albums go to their unicef campaign "SMile "

Meanwhile SM artists take 70% of the profits from their overseas activities which is their main source of income (tours). In fact, out of the big3 only in SM the artists have a significantly bigger share of overseas activities profits.

This was admittedly based on their old contracts and they never disclose such information again but according to Heechul the contracts apparently get better when you resign (but that definitely depend on the artist)
