Which is better 2-3 comebacks + 30-40 concerts or 1 comeback + 70 concerts per one promo year

I've always wondered this

Which one do you prefer?

Which do you think is more profitable?

Me personally i don't know which is more profitable but i prefer option 1.

Obviously option 2 is YG groups and option 1 is most other people.

Currently one single comeback with a pre release, 3 to 4 MVs and songs promoted on stage and months os promotions sparked during 3 to 4 months would be more than good for me. Every comeback would need to be a full album though

so you think one promoted comeback lasting maybe 1-2 months and then next 12 months of just concert is better? So like probably 15+ months between the actual album releases?

Tbh maybe it is indeed better idk but i personally did not enjoy bigbang and bp's release cycle

most people right? EXO did. For EXordium EXO actually did Album Repack Winter album(the three main ones) then also EXO CBX EXO japanese album and their tour eye- so like 5 comebacks eye-

you can't comeback every 10 months and also do 70 shows. You need 10-11 months to just do 70 shows and then there is album prep and release and then preparing for the next con etc

I think this is more relevant for BGs and GG's who tour as much as BG's. EXO, SKZ, 17 I think follow this cycle.

Most groups do not have that many comebacks while doing many regular concerts. Take Seventeen they only have around 20 to 30 concerts a year

One group was more overworked than EXO though: BTS

Those guys schedule were insane, worse than EXO even

Knew SM was deranged af. 2015-2017 was HELL for exo. But i bet they made that useless company hella money

The way exordium didn't even have the china leg and was still so damn long

I should have kept option three 1-2 comeback and 30 concerts for normal sane groups

Between 2015 and 2017

EXO did

2 full albums 2 repacks 2 winter albums 1 sub unit 1 Japanese EP, 2 special single releases (light saber and dancing king).

And EXOLUXION : 44 concerts and Exordium 37 shows (China leg cancelled) for 81 shows with a total of 1.3 million attendees.
