Yuqi is very popular in China, she was regular cast on the Chinese version of Running Man - a show that gets 5% ratings which in a country the size of China is a lot.

She did other big TV shows as well before Keep Running. Not just having Chinese members but a Chinese member that actually appears on Chinese media on a big scale easily explains why G-IDLE is in a league of their own in China.
