Figured I'd give this a shot. This EP definitely sounds like a sequel to his 2017 project, WHITE KNIGHT. That was a celebration of his marriage at the time. Down to Earth is a continuation of that.
What's great is that he has writing credits on all of the songs this time around. Even though his music isn't exactly what's popular for the K-pop demographic, I hope we can at least appreciate his artistry. He's a legend in the industry and a great person in his personal life.
Some of these lyrics are really touching in ballad Taeyang style. Hint hint. "Reason" and "Seed."
