I am afraid of one thing here...

  • The way things seem lookin that more and more groups which will hit that 4-5 year bar of activity will start to release one album in 2 years, maybe even in 3 and it will be that roll-out which we already seen happening with pre-release MV and then after month, or month and a half another MV the main title will drop.

It seems inevitable that this will happen more often after sales going up so crazy. We might be soon stuck in situation that more often dropped releases (at least 2 in a year) by groups from mid-size agencies will become that one thing which will keep us interested and still will make us "invest" our time into getting to know some new groups or following some additional content like youtube variety shows etc.

Don't attack me with money this, money that. After all most of us came to kpop for music and great MV's, so it's obvious we don't want to see it like once in two years, like let's not make our fav being in same level as auntie's Betty birthday which we attend each 2-3 years xD

  • Personally i think one album per year is plenty, plus a digital single and a bside. Average of 8-10 songs per year. That's plenty. I dont understand why so many fans want full albums every six months, the songs will all start blending together and frankly, it's hard to come up with 20 interesting melodies every year. Especially since Kpop groups and fans seem to want them to stick to specific concepts which limits their music even more. And if the idols themselves have to create the melodies/instrumentals themselves, it can easily lead to burnout.

I’m scared about the 1 album per 3 years

네가 참 궁금해 그건 너도 마찬가지 (ooh, ooh)...

  • less activities as the groups gets older has always been a thing tho

in other hand, solo schedules are introduced way earlier now than before so less groups activities should be easier to digest

  • I think it's good K-Pop is slowing its cycle down. The conveyor belt style of serving music every few months doesn't allow anything to actually stick and certainly isn't the best for any artist's wellbeing.

Yeah, that’s a good point, hopefully I don’t sound dumb. But what if the idol goes solo, and only has 1 album per 3 years?

Yes 1 or two a year is enough lol dunno why people are scared 😂😂 and wanting more 🤡🤡🤡 the fuck? I think people are forgetting the idols are human too they need time away to libe their lives have fun etc besides creating stuff takes alot of time you can burn out easy or hit writers block very quickly if you don't take a break from this stuff. Trying to 1 up yourself and everyone else every day isn't helpful mentally and this isn't including all the other activities they have in a single year from dance practices and new dances to solo work and mini albums to tv shows, dramas, movies or commercials and modeling gigs or concerts.
