i think bts and txt make good use of autotune

straykids use it perfectly imo

exaggerated autotune bothers me a lot, but there are cases that I understand the use as in Lotto that the effects on voice are purposeful. However, what irritates me is when the vocals are artificial and you cannot distinguish who is singing, EXO is not the case

Autotune is an effect, and you can use it in your songs to help mood or in an EDM song to help blend with the electronica. I am FOR good vocal technique, but literally every artist you hear nowadays is autotuned. Some use it too much (and that's a matter of opinion).

EXO has very good vocal coaches, and use autotune only as an effect. Autotune won't make you sing well, it can only help already-good notes. BTS and TXT both have VERY good vocal coaches (don't get me started on what BigHit vocal coaches have accomplished with both groups). So when they choose to use autotune it's an effect, not a crutch.

Producers needs to understand that there are multiple vocal effects so why stick to autotune only???

some current productions irritate me a lot because they make the voice artificial (not in a positive way or that aggregates the production)

I dislike heavy autotune. I don't get why people like it tbh it's like robots are the one singing. Esp. if it's high pitched...

It's good/tolerable only when used in the right track and right way&amount. Lotto is probably my fav autotuned song. But I still prefer the live version

Groove's bridge is out of this world. Autoune was such a fine detail.

And in obsession it fits the exo x-exo concept
