HYBE Japanese Boy Group [&TEAM] Being Called A "Blue Chip" Already 4 Months Into Their Debut

So happy for &TEAM! It's frustrating as an i-luné but I'm really happy that they are getting some excellent opportunities in Japan.

I really hope they get to meet some other acts, it would be cool to see them interacting with other idols and groups / (to make friends in the industry to).

As a international fan, like you said its hard, because the content they do create is restricted to Japan and any articles that is written about &TEAM regarding achievements and ECT is in Japanese and is hard to find.

But I'm not surprised they doing well, because their songs are great and the boys can perform like crazy and have awesome chemistry.

Yeah, I see many i-luné who believe that the guys aren't being promoted, which isn't exactly true. They're being promoted very well in Japan and are off to a strong start. It just seems like nothing is happening because we have zero access to any content and HLJ isn't doing a very good job so far (IMO) of uploading content that is accessible to i-luné.

They are also part of the show called DUNK right now which was an idea of the Japanese artist SKY-HI. The show started I think in the end of February and contains a lot more JPop-acts than just them. Some of the artists on the project outside of &TEAM (and of cause SKY-HI since he made the show) are also artists like for example DREAM COMES TRUE (who exists since the 90s), BE:FIRST (Who is one if the most famouse boygroups in Japan right now), GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, if I saw it on Twitter corectly than Ryuhei of BE:FIRST performed with Mikey from Tokyo Gegegay (or whatever the picture is that looks like them where someone was mentioning Ryuhei + I know they must've performed together since both did a TikTok together wearing the same clothes as on the photo), BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE,... and many more (but on the live performance they did for the show, it looks like that &TEAM are not the most popular act since everyone is just posting about BE:FIRST lol). The show was made in hope to get foreign people into JPop by showcasing a lot different artists from the country. However I only see that this apeals more to the Japanese public than overseas

When I first checked out DUNK, there weren't any subtitles and it was hard to follow what was happening so I gave up. ☹️

Weird, they said that at least the stuff on Youtube should be subed when they post (cause without it, it would ruin the whole purpose and SKY-HI really intends on trying to have subs since he wants people from all across the globe to check out things. But it's not everywhere since for example the survival show he held to find BE:FIRST was fully subed in English on Youtube but BE:FIRST themselfs has no subs on their vlogs ... man this guy is rich, he could hire a translator for his videos. I mean SKY-HI once said he made 7 million $ in a year with his new company after paying 3 million $ into making the company and 1 million $ into forming BE:FIRST)

I've been wondering that too. I kinda think the company is making deals simply because they managed to get CFs when they were OT4 and weren't even a full group yet. They didn't even have a proper name and were missing half their members.
