Honestly, more than group performance, this is the one I'm surprised about '_'

90% of the awards have always been handed during the preshow tho, maybe it’s a bit surprising that they’ve included rap and pop noms given how popular they are but entire genre categories like rock/metal and electronic music have never been televised. It’s sad for bts since that’s their only nom but beside that I don’t get what the big deal is

It's a serious issue. One unfortunately that's been a problem since the Grammys were instituted. People should actually care about that issue and not try to use it for alternative reasons.

The Grammys have been shit for years now and at this rate, the celebration may not even happen in a few years if the ratings end up being super low. It's become a popularity contest instead of whoever makes the best music wins.

It's very sad because people like The Weeknd who make quality music can't be represented properly.
