They are a ballad group that formed from One Day (the other group was 2 PM who was more popular). I always thought that 2 AM had incredible vocalists but they were not popular due to singing mainly ballads and not utilizing heavy choreography. 2 PM was more popular due to their hit song "Again and Again" plus they had popular members like Nickhun. Bonus, 2 AM was part of Big Hit label and Suga made an appearance in their MV I think.
