OTG review.

I'm "whelmed"

So you know how BP is known for making "forward thinking pop music" basically the music I still haven't found anywhere else & teddy & Co are one of the main reasons for that.

I don't get it ...I don't know why YG & Teddy & Rosie decided to go for western producers song... OTG is a good song but it's not bombastic... Not mind blowing... It's like oh this is a good song but I've heard better than this in the western world, it's so far removed from kpop & BP in general.

Look guys the heard scratcher here is why Rosie & Vince sessions were thrashed in favor of this lol...

Chorus is super experimental & lacks the "ooohmp" factor BP songs & even solo is known for.

Here's what I love:

Lyrics... Absolutely amazing & definitely speaks to Rosie on a higher level.

THAT MV IS A WORK OF ART!!! SHE ASCENSED Y'ALL LIKE WOW JAW DROPPING MOMENT RIGHT THERE!!!! 10/10 FOR THE MV

THE FASHION

THE SYMBOLISM

THE SETS

ALL PERFECT ^

What I didn't :

The chorus. ("nah but they don't hear me tho" is a pretty fucking awesome lyric lol)

The drop.

Both those are lacking & can't help but feel a teddy & Co produced song would have definitely hit those ^

Very new & different from BP releases but I'm not sure chasing creative freedom should be at the price of masterpieces, sorry Rosie this wasn't up to par with the music & level of quality y'all have shown us ✔️

IMO your first mistake was to go into this with already a set expected sound in mind. When I went in, I had no set sound, I just wanted Rosie to show /do completely new to what she has done before.
