Some songs don't blow your mind in the first listen, but creep under your skin after like a month lol.

I agree for the most part. I still liked the song alot. The MV, vocals, lyrics, etc was top tier.

When people say "YG has a certain sound" for the most part is true. I didn't like the beat drop, it felt out of place, definitely a very YG thing and it works for certain style of songs but unfortunately in this case, did not suit a Rose style song in my opinion.

I didn't feel the song was that experimental, for the most part it still a very YG song and within the realm of what I expected the song to sound like coming from them so I'm not sure it needed more Teddy & co, if anything.. I think they need less of it and I feel it wasn't experimental enough to capture her uniqueness.

Rose has such a one of a kind sound that I think they failed captured her full potential.
I still liked the song a lot, I think its a 7.5/10 for me but I too was not blown away. I hope there will be an attempt #2 later down the line, Rosie have left me wanting to see and hear more of what she can do.

On first listen I was underwhelmed, but I like it a bit more after several listens.

The mv is gorgeous and Rosé looks out of this world, but honestly I feel the mv is more impressive than the song.

Is it a bad song? Not by a long shot. But it's a middle of the road type of song and in no way reflects Rosé's talents.

I agree with everything you said... But I'd rate it a little higher for sure... plus it's a grower

The meaning & symbolism were everything I needed from Rosé solo ! I do not seem to dislike the chorus beat as much as others (I actually like it?). I think it needs time so people get accustomed to it (since it isn't a beat as strong as what we're used to)
