it's always nice to see fellow k-pop stans wearing group merch at school/work/outdoors.

personally to me it brings a smile to my face.

here in LA in my school, i have seen people wearing kpop group hoodies mostly.

i just saw a girl across the hall with a Seventeen BE THE SUN tour hoodie and screamed "i like your seventeen hoodie!" and she turned around, smiled, and yelled back "thank you!"

there was also this one time i saw a STAY with a hoodie of the Maniac World Tour and told her she had a cool hoodie and she was like thanks!

then this other time i was in Hollywood watching the 2022 Christmas parade and a lady walks thru the street with a TXT hoodie/shirt and i just scream "nice shirt! who's your bias???" and she screams back "Mine's Yeonjun " and im like "Mine's HueningKai !" and she screams back "cool : )"

have you ever interacted or complimented someone with a kpop artist merch ?

• A former dormmate came up to me at the train station before we knew eachother and she said she noticed me at work since we worked in the same company and her first words to me before telling me where she knew me from was yelling right into my face "Hi, you're the girl with the bts-hoodie right?" - I ran away and almost wanted to scream in fear
• Some weeks later I sat in a mall and a girl took place on the other side of the table. Since the eating area was full and her friend stood next to her I just said "Please let me finish than you can have the table" the girl than sighted and got up and only after that I noticed she wore a BTS-jacket and that she most likly wanted to talk to me cause of the BTS-hoodie I was wearing. Later on I noticed her 5 times or so more in the mall but she allways tried to run away when she noticed me
• When I wore a Blackpink-shirt some years ago on a very large festival and all of a suddon strangers yelled at me from far away "blackpink in your area" which gave me 2nd hand emberasement and especialy cause other people walking around who are not into KPop looked confused

I have some other KPop-merch but never got commented on it from people who wanted to talk to me. The other times I realised people were noticing my shirts they either tried to run away or just stared at me ...

if someone were to scream at me an iconic phrase from my fave i would scream back

but i see. some are shy/afraid to do so & i was too at the beginning!
