I can see what they’re getting at. Most 4th gen groups are not focusing on rap skills like them. Their dance seems above a lot of groups too.

I think dance can be debated (they are really good tho) but rap, yes.

The problem is, I don’t think most of their music really showcases that as much as it should. Like, we see them go off in mixtapes and covers and I want more…

I was going to make a XG thread and still might....but absolutely their rap line blew me away completely. I went into their cypher blind after a friend asked if I ever heard of them (I hadn't), and it was next level.

Especially Cocona. You know you had fire bars when the rapper whose beat you sampled has to shout you out on his socials.

not only the rap skills but also the amount of quality rappers in group

but I do agree on that one with bunnyviolet that they are so so so so great in covers, and they do deserve to have song which will blow away even Knetz!

for example Hinata's vocal video was very nice and like agency should give girl more lines, just fkn make that song 20-30 seconds longer to distrubute those lines better and maybe kind of 'even' the raps and vocals to make it less girl crushyy
