[BTS CONTENT] There is a rumor that that $300 (not including shipping and taxes) Proof collectors edition scam reached over 150K albums sold

Well, many ARMYs are rich, like REALLY RICH. And they don't care how much money they spend when it comes to BTS.

I refuse to buy an album that's priced 30 dollars even if I want it really badly(looking at you map of the soul 7 ) and then there's people who willingly spend 300 bucks to buy an album.

Even if I'm 300k in 20 years, you bet I'm still going to be buying the cheapest albums on amazon.

this though, these guys are the same one that managed to sell out a line of cars with the avg price of 44,000 dollars.

Exactly, I didn't even care about that edition, I had even forgotten about it But that's why I prefer to buy albums instead of merchandising, because I would prefer my money to go to them, not to the company. Also, I would never spend a single cent in the games, I don't think they even get crumbs from them.

Keep in mind that USD $44K is actually not expensive for a car.

According to this recent article: "The average new car sold in November cost $48,681"

Even I drew the line at buying an overpriced 10 lb tin can that wouldn’t even be counted towards the charts.

that's true, my fam has much more expensive cars but still. For a lot of places in the world some people dream of getting a 40k salary.

Isn't it logical to think that the Proof Collector's Edition moved a hundred thousand units? HYBE usually stocks 100k units each pre-order- i.e. LY: Her vinyl, already sold at 100k units with only 1 pre-order and some are to be shipped early this year.

So, it's likely that the 150k units are a conservative amount sold. It was sold out at the 1st pre-order and is still selling at Weverse. The revenue generated is definitely around 42M-45M if we based it on the 150k units sold. That's the same revenue generated for a kpop album ($18) with 2.5M units sold.
