that’s an overused excuse. Twice should’ve had solo promos 1-2 years ago. Tzuyu had her solo cf for a phone company in her rookie years. She could’ve had more too if the flag accident didn’t happen

Miss A excuse has and will never make sense, it comes down to money. Most people say it because it seems an easy reason.
Through her individual activities Suzy bought more money in than Miss A ever would have done. She had some of the biggest endorsements in South Korea and was pretty much carrying the company in a way Miss A as a group wouldn't have been able to. Other Miss A members also got pushed, some before Suzy, but none blew up to a national title like she did.
I don't think there has ever been any comment from JYPE to say they regret how that turned out, they had the biggest star in the country for a while making them bank. Despite Miss A being big digitally they weren't big sellers.
Twice got some individual push at the start especially Tzuyu who became popular for her visuals, but then the flag incident happened putting a stop to Tzuyu and Cheer Up blew the group up as a whole. JYPE weren't in the best state around that time so it was just non-stop as a group for a few years to capitalise on that success, whilst helping the company branch out in other markets.
The company didn't slow them down for years meaning no time to consider/plan any kind of long-term future for the members. The groups current predicament seems to be the result of being stuck in a situation where they just had to be non-stop for too long. Now that they've slowed down but JYPE are probably struggling again due to Covid they either can't afford to push them or don't think it's worth it with renewal a year away as they are already late to the game.
