cuz if they weren't invited to MAMA, why didn't they come to MAMA but come to this significantly less prestigious awards show also requiring them to fly to Japan and happening just 2 weeks later.

Maybe cause they'll get an award? But is that really such a big deal when the award is known to be meaningless
