Sentences that I feel proud of having written

  • This thread is a bit random, but sometimes I end up reading some of my old writings and then been thinking "Wow, did I write this masterpiece?"

    This might make me look like I think too highly of myself, even though I sometimes don't always feel that confident about my writing.

    Those sentences are from fanfics and poems that I have written.




    Then Mark was sitting alone, eating cake, but the cake tasted less delicious because of his sadness and loneliness.



    "If you really cared about me, you would let me be happy together with someone I love, and not expect me to live like a forever alone monk"



    She starts caressing his back too, feeling the hardness of his ribs and spine.



    "People often say that if you really love someone, then you have to let them go." he tries to remove the tears from his cheeks. "So I'll let you go."


    He takes a seat on the kitchen floor, holding his legs against his chest, and lets more tears fall down.



    "I want you to know that I'll be by your side until the end" he said.



    He avoids eye contact and looks at some orange, fallen leaves on the ground.



    He looks into his brown eyes that are reflected by the lamps on the ceiling.



    She thought she had shed all her tears when she tried to sleep in her own bed last night.



    His heart feels warm as if he had just taken a sip of hot cocoa in a winter day.



    He could see the stars twinkling on the night sky and tried to look for the Big Dipper and Orion, which he had learned about in school.



    Her heart feels like it is burning like the sun and it hurts.



    "When you and Sehun started dating, I tried to stop having feelings for you, but they didn't want to disappear. And whenever I saw both of you kiss..." He puts his hand on the middle of his chest. "... I felt like my heart broke into pieces, and I hated that it made me feel that way." Water wells from his eyes. "Instead of feeling that way, I should have felt happy for you."



    Because of the loneliness, he feels like summer might never return.



    "Your presence makes me happy."



    She smiles from seeing him being as happy as a kid who just got a new toy as a Christmas present.



    She stares at his face, admiring it like a gorgeous painting.



    "Well... I haven't bought any ring." He puts his hands in his empty jeans pockets. "But would you like to marry me?"



    A smile appears on his lips as he looks at his future wife's face, feeling like he is still dreaming, but the dream turned much sweeter.


    Rain drops fall on them, leaving wet dots on their clothes.



    The heart, which has been crushing on him since he saw him, has started to fall more in love with him.



    Hongjoong looks into his starry, glittery eyes before telling him. "I love you."



    His face looks familiar to him, but he isn't sure where he has seen it. Then he realizes that he has seen it in the mirror.



    My life without you would be like a summer without sun



    I'm not sick, I might be lovesick, but I don't want a cure



    The pain in my legs is gone, so is the pain in my heart.
