Is rosé hard carried by her blonde hair?

  • Unlike the other members who never stick to a certain hair color. Do you think she is hard carried by her blonde hair? What will happen once she dyes her hair brown or black?

Jisoo and Jennie hardly ever change their colour, or if they do it just for the release of a song and then back to black/brown. The only one changing colours all the time is Lisa

She doesn’t want to go back to black. She knows.

  • I think she's been told that light colors give the optical illusion of a smaller face. Her scalp is barely hanging in there at this point which gives the problem that dying it dark would expose how thin it's gotten. She (and Lisa) could do with seeing a trichologist. But maybe not in Korea.

I don't get why going blonde destroys asian hair so badly. Apparently it's thicker generally than caucasian hair so it should be able to handle it, I have white family members who have been "natural blondes" for as long as I can remember and their hair looks healthy. KPop idols just bleach for a few months and then it's a fried mess. Do they repeatedly bleach all the hair or something?

  • Her hair is her persona.

Maybe because Asian hair is thicker it needs stronger bleach for longer period to achieve that platinum look. So it's actually more damaging. And black hair has to be dyed more often since the contrast with outgrown roots is so visible.

i think it's because it's thicker it's much harder to lighten. it takes a long time and really strong bleaching agents to get it that blonde, but it's also more damaging.

FIrst of all, what is a trichologist? :whatb:

  • I think it's the other way round, she's hard carrying blonde in my opinion.

I think she suits blonde, she makes blonde look good. Plenty of idols go blonde but no one pulls it off like her. I think blondsé is here to stay.

Also :teeheek: at the comments worrying about the condition of her hair and scalp. She has the best professionals/advice/care money can buy. She probably spends more on hair care in a week then most people earn in a year. She will be fine lol.

  • Every blink in existence keep begging her to go back to black, so disagree

  • Maybe she thinks blonde makes her prettier. She did grow up in Australia after all.
