It's the accent from England which is the norm, everything else is a dialect of it.
Yep, pretty much. But then again, there are still different accents in England. So I get confused whenever says the "normal" English/American or Canadian accent. It depends on where they're from.
Most people would say that this is the normal American/Canadian accent but there really is no "normal" one.
