Prediction: Trainee A will sell 1M+ at debut

  • They have big fanbase and hybe will invest lot at their debut

i only see sm nbg to rival them in sales next your for debut groups but trainee a has advantage of being exposed early and building fanbase

  • They already have bigfanbase and hybe will prolly invest their debut well so I already see it, maybe they show great digitals too

other prections (sales for first month):

    sm nbgg - 700K+

    jyp loud - 500K+

    pledis nbg - 200K+

    cube nbg - 50K+

    fantagio nbg - 50K+

    cjes nbg - 20K+

    kq fellaz 2 - 10K+

  • haven't even debuted and accomplished anything and still gonna sell 1m+

nice to be a HYBE pre-debut nbg (or big 3 group for that matter)

  • i know they're gonna be a hybe bg but.... i feel like i haven't seen much of them lately so idk if theres any hype left at all bcs its taking them so long to debut

  • No doubt. Selling a million isn't a flex anymore. Now it's being glued to the top of Melon.

  • Of course they will, who cares if they have good music or are talented. They are from Hybe and have ... so they will sell

  • That's more like they should sell at least 1 M albums to make good headlines.

  • yeah, thats why. If they can't have the digitals at debut they need astronomical sales to make up for it otherwise they be no different than txt and enhypen

im thinking they'll realistically speaking, do about 400-500k. 300,000+ being the lowest and 500,000+ the highest, average number they might get is 420,000+.

They don't have that big of a fan base yet.

They'll probably hit 1 million pre orders by their 3rd or 4th comeback.

But then again if the songs are good asf, then they'll reach it by their 2nd to 3rd comeback

Idk but I have high hopes that they'll be the break out group in 4th gen for boy groups

  • that is too low expectation imo, even if i lower my expectation i'd say 800K at lowest

afak enhypen sold 600K+ at debut. There's no way trainee a sell lower than them. They need some jaw dropping numbers to gain attention.

ofc sales also should match digitals, so as well I am expecting good melon charting (highly unlikely but who knows) or great spotify charting. I am sure hybe will give them their best song.

Well ur the only person I've seen say the 1 million thing.

When I go on Reddit and allkpop forum looking up stuff about them, and sales for their debut is talked about, I've always seen people predict the 400,000+ - 500,000+ pre order narrative, with 500,000 being the main number.

I guess since NewJeans was able to get a little over 500k pre orders debut, people feel like it shouldn't be that impossible for Trainee A.

But one million preorders for debut is way to big I PERSONALLY think, nothing against your prediction though✨..hopefully it'll happen lol.

I got a question for you though cuz I want your opinion.

Do you think they'll be really big???

Like bigger than even stray kids? Or you think they'll never be number 1 and only be the 2nd or 3rd best 4th gen boy group?

Also..this might be a little far, but I genuinely want others opinions on this. But do you see them as BTS *successors* in the future?

Meaning the next group in kpop to make big waves globally and really break into the western market, obviously maybe not as big as BTS, but Trainee A being able to at least get some of BTS achievements, in the FUTURE and them making records with their debut mini album.

  • most of the group want to be BTS (concept, sub units, raps, mixtapes, etc) there are only two companies that were successful in forming idol rappers and those are YG and BH, so we can have high expectations with Traine A because they all already have experience . But BH can't handle his groups well because HYBE is an obstacle (they are afraid that BH will leave the corporation). Although the most curious thing is how the interaction between Traine A / TXT will be. Now I see a good future for TXT and I feel that they will be the continuation of 1D

  • With bts on hiatus, I feel like they'll focus on traineeA more than txt and BTS solos so yeah it's possible they'll have huge sales.

  • they don't have a chinese member so i doubt. nowadays, you have to be somewhat popular in china to sell over 1m

  • I see them getting so huge they have everything from talent to good agency, music matters but hybe's generally consistent in the music department and I think they will give their best to trainee A. But I am not sure about them being ultimate top 1. Because, they have privilege. What I have observed when it comes to boygroups people usually root for underdogs. Things will be so easy for Trainee A they will be doing great since start, everyone will expect them to be top group, but that makes it not interesting for people. Next to them, even skz has more interesting story as they were being called flop and no one expecting them to do well until god's menu and since then they were unstoppable. Regardless, they will be huge, I think sooner or later they will surpass stray kids if hybe gives them catchy music.
