    Why do you think BTS only do well with English songs now meanwhile their Korean songs flop?
    From 2020 onwards, Dynamite, Butter, My Universe, PTD are their best performing songs both in Korea and internationally. When PTD was released, people want them to go back to singing in Korean, but they let their comeback flop. Their recent Korean solos flop too except Jungkook English song with Charlie Puth. Why only English songs do well now for BTS?

    To answer Anon's question, since OP can't reveal their username on the main— think whatever you want! I won't pull any stats & data knowing that BTS is still the biggest group with or without the hiatus. Can't say the same to others 😬

    No. It's the song. BTS hit songs are all pop and upbeat. Their last korean song like that is Boy With Luv and it's SOTY in 2019, nuff said. So far, BTS only released LGO and YTC so far as their korean song 2020-present time. LGO peaked at number 2 because it was blocked by Dynamite. On Spotify, it accumulated almost 560M streams (which is like the total streams of most kpop groups' whole album). YTC is the only Korean song that 'flopped' on BTS standards.


    Besides, most kpop groups that have hits in SK rn are not even trying to step away from their comfort zone. So, IDK what they're talking about. Maybe, when their faves released a same kinda song like YTC without the TikTok dances, let's see how they do in kcharts 😁

    the way Run BTS got like 5.6M streams as a b-side... it really did have hit potentional (i mean there are like 5 different videos of its performance with like 2M+ views on twitter (some with 4M+)). But I understand why the boys chose YTC as it was more along the lines of their message for this comeback etc.
