I’m going to a Halloween potluck/dinner, where I’ll be participating in a talent show by signing the Addams Family theme song in ASL dressed up as Wednesday, the giving out candy at the trunk or treat this weekend.

In my neighborhood, there’s only one family that has little kids. So I buy some Halloween candy for them every year. They come and I just do it - we may be one of the few houses to give out candy since it’s not really celebrated here either. They will probably stop coming in a few years when the kids get older. Last year the kids came as Batman and Robin and were too cute.
I think I will try to find a good scary short novel or collection to read. Or rewatch the original Thai film Shutter.

Debating. I'll either be at home handing out treats or maybe DMing at a Halloween-themed D&D night. The latter will be more fun, but the former will be shorter, and it is a work night unfortunately.
A city near me decided they would do the last Friday of the month as trick or treating night to give everyone the weekend to recover from being up late, and I envy their residents. It must be awful for parents when trick or treating is on, say, a Tuesday, and they still have to drag their kids up for school on Wednesday morning.
