Both, usually it is first reported at the higher number. Later its corrected to the lower value. Haven't seen it go the other direction.

All good here. I was lucky sitting at the other side of Taiwan central mountain from epicenter, most folks here were or it would have been otherwise.

Was in my flat on the 5th floor when that happened, left / right swing and a good one. Did not hear chics screaming dogs barking at that point around my building. A friend of my all over his girl in his car when it started shaking said he did not know there was an earthqake.

People yelled about re -activating nuclear power plants de-commisionned here voiced down on the incident.

Earthquake is primary cause to shut down all nuclear power plants in the country thank that to Fukushima where

possible electricity supply shortage later is suspected by some companies assessing whether if to build more manufacturing facilities here, most are semi con guys who ate shxt load of electricity.

Wonder what TSMC Taiwan fabs earthqake endurable level is , the US might wanna triple check on this
