Mind you spotify increased A TON of users from 2 years ago. Not to mention blackpink always release in an empty house. Don’t be an idiot. Spotify giving BP free paid streams for a week is not the same as Spotify announcing BTS cb and BTS getting onto tth. If you weren’t aware they are some of the most streamed artistes in the world. Unlike BP BTS can actually do Drake’s numbers so their cb is highly anticipated for by Spotify.
Still they didn’t get free paid streams like your girls did

And why exactly do you bring RM and j-hope who had zero (and I repeat: zero aka 0) support from company in general and on spotify specifically? Go compare to Jk results who went as a feature on Charlie Puth collab for which Puth's company did amazing very calculate promo in every possible area including spotify and thus Jk is doing very much fine thanks to it.
It's how kpop release typically go: have a big peak at release time and basically free fall unless there is promo involved for longevity - it's honestly not a rocket science to understand. No j-hope nor RM got promo while YG bought their girls the biggest promo possible.

Lmaoo are blinks this stupid everywhere ? Holding streaming parties is payola? Do you even know what payola is? That is buying spots and put in many many playlists. YG are making the album free so even free streams are counted as on demand streams. What BTS did is peanuts compared to this. There is nothing with BP doing promo but don’t call it the same.
And BP getting number 1 yet have lower streams than BTS, shouldn’t that show you that it depends on competition? Or is that common sense too complicated for you?
