I was expecting BTS to be on the list but their ranking still caught me by surprise. Higher than Drake, Adele, Rihanna. That wouldn't even have crossed my mind.
Do those sales figures include the special collectors edition of PROOF?

HYBE said it won't count towards the charts and they didn't disclose how many units it sold in the 1st pre-order. The 2nd pre-order is still on going so maybe after that we will hear something from them or in their quarterly meetings. But I'm guessing 100k units at the very minimum each pre-order.

Interesting to note that they did it within 5 years from 2016-2017, so for them to accumulate this much within a short period of time is amazing to see, already up par with the legends on the list, the impact is undeniable!
