What are normal US KPOP concert ticket prices?

  • I was thinking of seeing BP but I am not paying almost $400 before tax sorry (and this is just GA)

I saw people buying VIP packages for upwards of $1000 each and that's their money but still wtf

Are these normal ticket prices for kpop groups or is YG just crazy ?

  • It's easy.

If you have the money and want to go, go. If you have the money and don't want to go, don't go.

  • Any concert ticket price is crazy, but why are people trying to police what Blinks do with their money?

  • Those are resell prices usually. Common practice and kinda low if they are scalped tickets. If they aren’t scalped tickets then blinks are true suckers and no wonder YG and BP take advantage of them.

What op wanted. It's a pity you can't just focus on your faves, they must be boring for you to be here.

  • YG is being crazy. Usually other kpop concerts are $250-300 for VIP tickets with sound check and GA range from $60-200 before taxes.

  • Why are people dragging op? It's a genuine question. I'm not american so i don't know the answer but I'm from a poor-ish country, I could never pay so much money. Sadly. I'd love so see my faves but that's never going to happen.

  • It's like that for top artists. I remember Justin Bieber having the same concert ticket prices and I would rather go to a Blackpink concert over a JB one anyday.

  • I'm in East Europe and for example idk about kpop but prices for concerts for western artists (jessie j, one Republic, elthon john etc) here have been from 50$ to 750$ so its expected its higher in USA, I mean I expected

You have to take into account the conversion rate though, I think prices would be more expensive in eastern europe because of the value of your currency.

  • people is stupid hu

if you don`t have the money don`t go

if you have the money but for you is not worth spending so much in your faves, don`t buy it. You are not less of a fan because you are not able to spend money on them.

and in my country all prices of shows are monstrous, if they come not sure if i will go

  • Revenue of a stadium with the attendance of an arena

  • Depends on where you're sitting. I've seen most shows start at $70-75 for the cheap seats and go up from there. You're unlikely to touch the good seats for less than $200 and even that number is probably unlikely. You didn't say where the seats were, but this sounds like reseller prices though. If you can wait and aren't afraid to miss it, recreational sellers usually get desperate and lower their prices closer to the date, hoping to make at least a little of their money back. We're talking like a few days before.

It's not but BP is beyond kpop. They aren't on the same range. Even their brand value is x10 kpop groups.

The quality of the concert is off the chart. with a live band and a great experience. Safety is guaranteed.

I can understand how it seems expensive but considering their brand value, the quality and the budget they put into their MVs and everything they do .... really .... it's understandable.

  • Not to OP cuz IK their question is genuine but to allllll the people trying to make blinks feel guilty for spending their own hard earned money : WORK.

Be smart. Create a business. Invest in active and passive streams. Stop with your lack scarcity mindset. And support your favs like blinks support Blackpink.

  • I'm sure the fees are chosen proportionally to the countries GDP.

Europe and US are high income countries. 1000€ isn't really unreasonable.
