Firstly, I did not mention Kakao as an excuse. IVE achievements speak for themselves. They don't need Kakao or starship to payola their way to any daesangs. Got that? Good. Moving on.
Secondly, the only mention I made of Kakao was to address your asinine claim that "they wouldn't give daesangs to a Starship group", which insinuates that only groups from big 4 (big 3 at the time). BTS was literally from a company 10x smaller than Starship but still got their awards due to their level of popularity.
As for Kakao being bigger, yes, yes it does matter. The only difference between Kakao and the big 4 groups is branding. Them having a bunch of flops other than IVE and IU doesn't change the fact that they still have far more money and resources than any of the big 4. Other companies trying to payola their way to beat IVE will hit a wall. And, once again, Kakao owns Melon. It's literally the reason so many bitter people like yourselves accused Sistar of chart manipulation on melon and even IVE. So you're silly if you think Melon will spurn their own group.
First of all, I'm not the person who said IVE wouldn't win any daesang because they're a Starship group. I totally believe they can. Any artist can if they prove themselves regardless of where they come from. So your anger here is misguided.
Second, what I meant by you should stop using "Kakao" as a reason that makes IVE more powerful or whatever than other groups it's just because it's simply not true. I will repeat again because you don't seem to understand. Kakao doesn't have to bother with backing up their artists because music is NOT their main source of income. It's their sublabels job to do that, aka Starship.
It seems that you fail to understand that hyping up IVE as "Kakao's girlgroup" backfires and only give the illusion to kpop stans that dont understand anything about it that IVE only achieved massive success because the company that owns them is filthy rich. But they happen to be the exception, not the rule. You don't see any IU stan claiming IU is more powerful than any big4 act just because she come from Kakao. It's because we all know she is an exception and reached where she is with her merit only.
